Covers are still important for empty pools, as the pool itself can represent a significant safety concern should someone trip and fall into it. Covers also keep your pool clean and ready for when the season finally changes.
Winterizing your pool is a fantastic time to also inspect it for any potential issues. Monitor your pool equipment to ensure that it’s operating correctly and look over the surface of your pool to see if there are any cracks, chips or other damage.
